Leucothoe is a fabulous fancy foliage shrub which produces bronze-red tips that look like flames due to the shape of their glossy leaves.

A beauty for adding colour and interest into the garden for the autumn and winter seasons. Leucothoe is also a very low maintenance shrub that is ideal for filling up borders or even containers, creating a lovely green backdrop for flowering plants in the spring and summer, then coming into its own as described above in the autumn & winter.

Leucothoe is quite happy when planted in a sunny spot or even a rather shady spot too, a good garden performer in both situations.

After Care Tip: Plant in ericaceous compost and keep topped up in the spring and autumn with ericaceous compost or feed to ensure the plant stays looking healthy & happy
