Allium Sphaerocephalon

Allium Sphaerocephalon

Allium Sphaerocephalon has interesting ovate shaped flower heads that are green-cream at the base changing to deep purple towards the tip of each bloom. Alliums are a fantastic way to encourage pollinators in to the garden and they also make for lovely cut flowers for the home.

Name: Allium Sphaerocephalon

Planting Allium Bulbs: Plant from September-November for best results in the spring. Plant each bulb at a depth of approx 3 x the size of the bulb- this helps anchor the roots into the soil properly.

Planting tip: when planting bulbs, throw in a small handful of Empathy Bulb Starter, this helps promote healthy & strong root growth & helps to keep bulbs health in good standing whilst developing. This will also aid the development of the flower stem & bloom later in the spring. Add to your order from the options above or shop here.
